Michigan Small Business & Technology
Development Centers (SBTDCs)
Providing ongoing training is one of the many
services Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Centers (SBTDCs) provide for growing and starting businesses.
Professionals or current small business owners with pertinent expertise
teach these trainings. A description of the sessions offered, dates,
locations, and fees (if any) are listed on the
state SBTDC website. Go to
"Calendar" under "Training Events".
The
Michigan SBTDCs offer too many courses to list here and courses are added
all the time; however, two
workshops of particular interest to startup businesses
may be the "Fundamentals of Starting a Business" and "Fundamentals
of Writing a Business Plan". The Region 4, Michigan Small
Business and Technology Development Center located on both campuses of the Mid
Michigan Community College as well as other SBTDC locations offer each of these workshops.
